Double Bunny Jig

The Double Bunny Jig is one of the original Buggs, and has proven effective in many environments. The design is inspired by the iconic Double Bunny Fly. It is tied with two magnum rabbit strips glued together, and is made to fish as is. The slim design imitates a shrimp or small, bottom dwelling baitfish. On the sides you’ll find standard and UV flash to give it extra appeal. It’s tied on the Buggs Redfish Jig Head, and so it lands softly, hook point up, and sinks more slowly compared to other jig heads. It is ideal when fish are chasing shrimp, whether in the shallows near the grass or in open water. When birds are working over shrimp being pushed to the surface, the Double Bunny Jig is ideal to throw. Choose your size based on the water depth and casting distance, make your cast, and let it sink down before working it back with erratic twitches of your rod.
